What the statute requires
Since October 1, 2024, each special district must establish goals and objectives for every program and activity, together with performance measures and standards to determine whether those goals are being achieved.
And every December 1 from 2025 onward, the district must publish an annual report on its website describing the goals and objectives achieved, the measures used to judge them, and any goals or objectives it failed to achieve.
